HOw to get involved?
1.Contribute
Share your park life stories with us. From morning runs to weekend festivals, dog walks to first dates, catch-ups to kickabouts, first steps to goodbyes … parks are where life happens. Please DM us or share it on Instagram tag @ParkLifeIpswich as a contributer or email us your submissions instead.
Where does this project live?
For now, this project lives on a social media account @ParkLifeIpswich and this website, but it could grow into an exhibition, a book, a film…
2.Co-create
Do you have a creative project in mind or want to co-create with others on a project? This is more than just contributing; it’s about collaborating and shaping the projects together from day one.
3.Are you an educator or a community group?
This is an opportunity to explore creativity, citizenship and Ipswich’s parks in a hands-on, cross-curricular way. We’d love to chat with you and explore how you can get involved! Get in touch.
4.BenchLife
BenchLife shares the stories behind Ipswich's dedicated memorial benches. Working with families and friends, we collect memories of loved ones and make them available through QR codes placed on the benches themselves. A collaboration between Wendy Hodgson (ParkLife Ipswich) and Sarah Tieck (This Is Ipswich), BenchLife helps keep memories alive in the places people loved.
Have a bench dedication you'd like to share? We'd love to hear from you: Send us an email.
